Zientzia Astea 2007
The 2007 edition of the Zientzia Astea, the Basque Science and Technology Week, is set to take place. The event is due to be held in the three Basque provincial capitals (Bilbao, Donostia-San Sebastian and Vitoria-Gasteiz) from November 5-10. This year the 5th Edition of the Science & Technology Week organised by Saretek, the Basque Science, Technology and Innovation Network, will be held in the Basque Autonomous Community. The event is scheduled to take place
between 6 and 12 November and its aims are to spread and promote the exchange of scientific-technological experiences and knowledge among the public as a whole.
Owing to its work to promote scientific education and culture, the holding of the Science & Technology Week has become one of the highlights of the European Union’s 6th Framework Programme for Research and Technological Development (FP6).
This initiative is aimed at fostering an exchange of information among those playing leading roles in scientific advances and the end users of their activity: the wider public.
