The 5th Science and Technology Week is aimed at all sectors of the public for whom progress in science and technology addresses the needs of society. This event will facilitate access to scientific culture by putting across quality information that is easily understood.

By organising this Week Saretek is pursuing the following aim:

To promote public interest in research, its development and its results and
to integrate innovation into society

• To spread the results of research activity in order to achieve deeper public understanding of science and technology.
• To promote an interest in scientific research so that students can have a better idea of what is going on.
• To encourage dialogue with the Public at large so that it can appreciate the impact of Science in the everyday activities of citizens and their quality of life.
• To open up areas of research, to display our scientific-technological resources and stimulate the knowledge for Science.
• To update the knowledge people in general have about Science and Technology.
