The aim of the Teknoskopioa Ideas Competition, organised for the third consecutive year, is for 6th Form and Vocational Training students to become researchers, scientists, engineers or inventors for a while.

This year Teknoskopioa will be setting an exercise for the participants to develop an awareness of different aspects of the energy problem: sources of energy, renewable energy, energy dependency, consumption levels, available resources, etc. The students will also be expected to come up with a simple, creative design of a plan for supplying their town with energy in a situation in which there are no fossil energy sources.

We want to let you know in advance that we will be announcing this in September, so that schools are informed and have plenty of time to plan the activity. At that point we shall be providing teachers and students with didactic material specially developed for the activity, which will include the necessary tools for putting together a proposal to be entered in the competition.
